Intelligent and responsible automation of Google Business Profile reviews.

Review Automation Manager is privately developed software that the operator uses solely for their own purposes. It is not publicly offered or sold. The software processes Google reviews of business profiles to which the operator has authorised access and generates replies in the original language using the OpenAI API.

How it works

    Secure Google authorisation

    Access to a Google Business Profile is explicitly granted via Google OAuth 2.0 by a person authorised for that profile.

    Processing new reviews

    Google Business Profile notifies about new reviews. The automation on Google Cloud retrieves the review of the authorised profile.

    AI-assisted reply generation

    Review text, star rating, display name and business name are processed via the OpenAI API to generate a suitable reply, where possible in the original language.

    Publishing via the authorised profile

    The reply is published through the authorised Google Business Profile. The app aims not to reply again to reviews that already have a reply.

Google account permissions and data access

The application requests the following Google OAuth scope:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage
  • This scope is used for authorised access to Google Business Profile data.
  • The application can read reviews of the relevant business profiles.
  • The application can publish review replies through the authorised profile.
  • Technically, this scope may also allow other Google Business Profile management operations. The core purpose of the application is processing and replying to reviews.
  • Explicit authorisation by a person authorised for the profile is required. It is distinct from consent to automatic publishing of replies.
  • The permission can be revoked at any time in the Google account security settings.

Responsible use of AI

Replies are generated by an AI model. AI-generated text may contain errors, inaccuracies or unsuitable wording.

Replies are published automatically only for profiles where express consent to automatic publishing has been given; not every reply is necessarily reviewed by a human before publication.

Published replies can be edited or deleted in the Google Business Profile at any time.

Privacy and security

Google OAuth 2.0
Access is granted only through explicit authorisation via Google's official sign-in flow. The application does not process passwords.
Google Cloud Secret Manager
Access tokens and credentials are stored in Google Cloud Secret Manager and are never stored in the browser or on this website.
Access controls
Access to the cloud infrastructure is restricted to authorised accounts of the operator.

No technical system provides absolute security. Details of the processing are described in the Privacy Policy.

Private software for own use

Review Automation Manager is privately developed by the operator and used only for their own purposes. There is no public sign-up, no subscription and no sale. Only reviews of business profiles to which the operator has authorised access via explicit Google authorisation are processed; these profiles are not necessarily owned by the operator. The private nature of the software does not change the fact that personal data of third parties (reviewers) is processed – the privacy notices therefore apply in full.

Frequently asked questions

How does Review Automation Manager work?

After Google authorisation, new reviews of the business profile are retrieved, a reply is generated via the OpenAI API and published through the authorised profile.

Which Google permissions are required?

The scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage. It grants access to Google Business Profiles, including reading reviews and publishing replies, and may technically allow further management operations.

Are replies published automatically?

Yes. Within the authorisation granted in advance, generated replies are published automatically. Not every reply is reviewed by a human beforehand.

Are reviews that already have a reply answered again?

The application takes existing replies into account and tries not to reply again to reviews that already have one. A complete guarantee cannot be given.

Is review data processed by an AI service?

Yes. Review text, star rating, the reviewer's public display name and business details are processed via the OpenAI API to generate replies.

How can Google access be revoked?

At myaccount.google.com/connections in your Google account. To have already processed data deleted, please also contact us – see the “Data Deletion and Revocation” page.
