1. Purpose of the application
Review Automation Manager processes reviews of authorised Google Business Profiles, generates replies using the OpenAI API and publishes them through the authorised profile. Operator: the private individual Mustafa Eren, Kirchenweg 2, 5071 Salzburg. It is software privately developed for the operator's own use and is not publicly offered or sold.
2. Right of use and authorisation
The application may only be used for business profiles of which the authorising person is the owner or an authorised representative. There is no public sign-up, subscription or sale of the software.
3. Access to Google Business Profile
Access takes place via Google OAuth 2.0 with the scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage. This scope may technically allow operations beyond review management; the application is used to process and reply to reviews.
4. Automatic replies
Automatically replying to reviews requires the prior, specific and express consent of the business owner or an authorised representative of the business. This consent is distinct from the Google OAuth authorisation: OAuth only grants technical access to the business profile and does not by itself constitute consent to automatically publishing replies.
Form and documentation of this consent: to be confirmed by the operator.
Replies may be posted publicly without individual manual review. There is no entitlement to every review, or every review immediately, receiving a reply.
5. Limitations of AI-generated content
AI-generated replies may be factually wrong, incomplete or unsuitable. The app aims not to reply again to reviews already answered; this cannot be fully guaranteed.
6. Responsibilities when using the software
- Regularly check published replies and edit or delete them in the Google Business Profile where needed.
- Use the software only for profiles for which a current authorisation exists.
- Stop automatic replies if the authorisation or the consent to automatic publishing ends.
7. Prohibited use
- Use for profiles without proper authorisation
- Creating misleading, offensive or unlawful content
- Manipulating reviews or circumventing Google policies
8. Compliance with Google policies
Use must comply with Google Business Profile terms and content policies and the Google API Services User Data Policy.
9. Changes and interruptions
The application depends on third-party services (Google, OpenAI). Changes, maintenance or outages of those services may cause interruptions. The operator may adjust features where technically or legally necessary.
10. Revocation and termination
Authorisation can be revoked at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/connections. Deletion of data already processed can be requested by email to app@komutan.at. Liability is governed by statutory provisions.
11. Governing law and contact
Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules; mandatory consumer protection provisions remain unaffected. Contact: app@komutan.at. In case of doubt, the German version prevails.
